Calling medical research “marginal” makes it sound unimportant, but it’s actually very important. When you deny the reality of its important uses, you undercut the valid arguments against its overuse.

Lived experience is data, actually.
I should have explained that the writing I’m talking about was business correspondence. I suspect you would prefer instructions that are simple and clear, and still have the appropriate details.
I agree that no one should be reading a book written by AI.
No, dismissing the word of a neurodivergent person in far more ableist.
Sure it is. I just met a neurodivergent person who feels their life has been greatly improved by having AI organize and clean up her writing. The problem is that’s not the use that makes the big bucks.
I’ve gone out 2 days in a row, and both days I saw a near collision that really makes me want these people to be forced into a self driving car.
The sad part is I get the feeling the Google search results below the AI are also getting worse. Now that ChatGPT shows its sources of information inline, it seems to be the best I can do.
Funny to see all the responses. When I was in Mastodon, it felt like a therapy group where 2 people need so much help that you never hear from the rest of us.
Sadly, my insurance no longer works at Walgreens, so CVS is the only pharmacy left to get a prescription on the same day.
In Japan, they put it in front instead. Feels like a decent compromise to me.
I’m still dreaming that Half-Life 3 will be the launch title for the next Valve VR headset. I know it’s hopeless at this point, but I need good dreams to sleep better.
Use shortwave radio, to make it only available to those who are willing to set it up?
The funny part is the app called “Threads” is the social media app most likely to break a thread up into pieces.
I once had a sausage McMuffin with a tough piece of gristle in it. Probably for the best that I stopped eating them.
I could add a line to their bit about 1 of 3 walkable cities. “Get over your fear of black people and move to a very walkable city: Oakland.”
Definitely Copacabana by Barry Manilow. I’ve ready heard it more times than I ever wanted to in my lifetime.
There was once a steak house in Florida that had A1sauce with Tobasco. Best thing I’ve ever dipped fries in. Sadly, it’s long gone.
This year, we’ve now had the first women to win best Cinematography at the Oscar’s and the Primetime Emmy’s (One Hour). Both well deserved and about time.
I saw some online ads for it previously, but that might be because Google ads knows too much about my health.
Are you listening to old podcasts? Because I remember this one. It was disturbing.
This is particularly sad to me because their veggie burger hits a sweet spot for quality/price that I haven’t found anywhere else. I guess it’s time to look further.
Ok, I’m reading it again. They are only working 120 hours a year for the reserve. This sounds like a very restricted commission to be basically a consultant. I doubt they have any command over much more than planning meetings.
And aside from a Physics degree, there was no accreditation to teach Physics.
When I did it, the Doctors and Lawyers went thought different Indoctrination school which has much easier than boot camp. As I did to prepare for teaching about Nuclear Power plants.
My parents let us pick an extra candy bar the night Nixon resigned. Who wouldn’t want to go back to that?
This is sad. He was really good in the Peanut Butter Falcon.
Now is the wrong time for me to be recovering from knee pain. Not being able to run is making things worse.
No matter how it’s communicated, it’s either too much info for the execs to deal with, or too little for the other teams to get what they need. The dream is to have an AI that generates the right reports only when needed, so we are not constantly updating reports or systems in case someone needs it.
In my line of work, software development, someone has to keep management up to date on how far along the project is towards completion. The “reports” go unread because they never get the right info to the right people. 1/
I was shocked to find the official recipe does not have cheese. My mom’s version added a block of cheese shredded.
And if you want to feel sophisticated, pan fry some mushrooms and add them to a rue sauce.
