Trump publicly accepted Iran's 10-point plan as a basis for a ceasefire, but then nothing to stop Israeli bombing in Lebanon, which was one of the ten points. He then we ballistic when Iran declared the cease fire to null and thus blocked the Strait of Hormuz.

I have no love lost for Iran's leadership (been on the receiving end of too many Iranian-backed attacks), but I have to admit that they are behaving more rationally than Trump in the on-again, off-again negotiations.
