We have a similar set here that we keep separate from our playable cards and would only trade them for other non-playable cards.

Consensus here is that it's a non-tournament legal fan made/proxy or promotional card with little or no market value. It's not technically "fake" because it's not pretending to be an actual card, but whoever traded with your kid almost certainly got the better end of the deal.

If you’re gathering with family this Thanksgiving, it’s a great time to agree upon a safe word or phrase to use to establish your identity over the phone and mitigate against someone cloning your voice or likeness using AI to scam family members into giving them money.
