Went to a “mandatory training for first incumbents” (priests of multiple parishes) today, which was offered 1 3/4 hours from home.
Attended what was, instead, a fascinating discussion on how to have challenging conversations around ethical issues. Totally worth the trip! Now, about that training…?

Well, she jumped down off a height and came limping to me. We were going to do a vet visit the next day but about an hour later she started crying, so off to emergency. Nothing broken, just a bad sprain, with bed rest as the only cure.
Today she’s putting some weight on it but wants to run!

The parish I was at today has a tradition of putting up a plain cross on Palm Sunday and decorating it either flowers today. People buy flowers on the way to church and it gets decorated so beautifully!

She’s Sabrina (very much like Audrey Hepburn in that movie) and she’s about a year and 3/4s. I got her from a rescue group here and she moved into my heart immediately. I agree, she’s a real beauty!
