Limiting car traffic in Pike Place would be such a boon for Seattle, I'm glad to see it has such strong public backing.
Visiting Seattle this winter & seeing the new waterfront for the first time, I was blown away by how much its improved since I lived there in the early 2000s.

We talked about the need for Mr. Rogers right now on the podcast and the need to help people and we brought up Ms. Rachel.
It's great to see that unlike the bulk of folks who stopped paying attention when they got the little boy from MN out, she is still invested to stop what is happening.
Except I think the blending on Tatum's wig is better?
did Ryan coogler steal the idea for sinners from Quentin Tarantino
no and fuck you for asking
If the only jobs become mid-career and management because everyone has decided there isn't enough bandwidth to train early-career folks... where do y'all think mid-career candidates will come from exactly?

This is #WhatAGameDevLooksLike!!
I will be at GDC all week!
If translation *alone* took six months, the pay rate would be so huge, it'd eclipse the golden years of the 90s and every manga translator I know wouldn't be juggling 10+ series. But no, it's one of the quickest, cheapest parts, for worse and for worse. You're drawing blood out of a stone, dinguses.
That's right folks! I hopped onto MangaTak to discuss Love Bullet volume 1.
Make sure to check it out! 🙂

The Bluff is really fucking great y'all! It's John Wick and the Villainess revenge in 19th-century Cayman Islands where Priyanka Chopra gives us one of the best female action performances that we have gotten in the US.
Revenge Actioner but make it pirates.
My review:
AAA Games: See every solitary pore on a character's face. Count their eyelashes.
Indie Games: Wanna drive a van
AAA Games: Listen to your GPU squeal in agony as we simulate the blood pumping in each vein
Indie Games: Let's sell low poly fetuses in space

All I want for my birthday is for everyone who sees this to buy #TheMangaBible or borrow it from their local library. If you buy it from an indie bookstore or bookshop.org that's even better because it shares the love even further.
Absolutely horrifying. This refugee survived genocide and died because of the gross incompetence of federal immigration agents.
Look at that gremlin
Found a shojo manga I would like to see translated, Otousan wa Shinpaishou, about a meddlesome widower who worries about his daughter.

It's true, we're publishing "manga for grown-ups" under our new Takumigraphics imprint--Publishers Weekly has the scoop! https://ow.ly/21KU50YkwxB
Queen shit. He doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as them.
It is the way that Black people are not talking about Davidson, at all.
We are talking about the ways in which people are showing up to defend him, in the name of disability justice, and in turn giving racism a pass. We're more angry at the BAFTAs and BBC than we are dude.
The existence, manifestation and projection of Tourette syndrome is not the intolerable problem. And nobody ever needs to apologize for that.
The existence, persistence and protection of racism is the intolerable problem. And nobody ever wants to apologize for THAT.
Im sorry I read this whole apology and while it is valid of his condition that he cannot control what he says due to his tics . He could have also included an apology to Jordan and Delroy , they literally had to hear a slur out loud as they present live , that humiliating.
Oh, we're all surprised they weren't going to maintain a warehouse in Iowa and Texas?
Funny thing about this Answerman article; it went up the same day that CR announced its deep-saving sales with new items added over three weeks.

4/? And even in the midst of all these two phenomenal actors have accomplished, they are expected to show "understanding" at being called the N-word on a global stage. It also needs to be acknowledged that no matter what we do or accomplish, we can never escape this type of violence.
3/? Why does no one ask demonstrate that same understanding for how offensive, humiliating and steeped in generational trauma the N-word is? Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo are a part of the most Oscar-nominated movie in history and are at the top of their craft.
2/? A few things about this. Tourette's is real. However, Tourette's does not create language. It messes with the filter of what the person says. The tick is that they say things that are offensive. HOWEVER, while there is all of this understanding going on about Tourette's...
1/? Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo were called the N-word by a man with Tourette's at the Bafta Awards. The man, Jonathan Davidson, is the subject of a film about Tourette's, that is nominated at BAFTA. Alan Cummings addressed the audience thanking people for their understanding.
Instagram post by Misan Harriman (@misanharriman) and Hanna Ines Flint (@hannainesflint): Tourette syndrome is an unpredictable disability. The person cannot control their ticks, no matter how profane they might be. So it is outrageous that the BBC did not see fit to bleep out the racist slur uttered by an audience member with the syndrome, during the ceremony, despite the broadcast's hour delay. Yet the BBC did manage to cut out Akinola Davies Jr saying "Free Palestine". So what does it say about a publicly-funded organisation that is willing to censor winners' speeches but not racist slurs? I feel for every Black person in the audience, watching at home, and seeing the clip spread online. I feel for the man with Tourettes who is now being ripped apart online. The BBC has a lot to answer for.
FYI there was a whole HOUR delay delay. Not bleeping the slur but cutting out a reference to Free Palestine was indefensible.
