That train journey was worth it. Well done!

I loved that
As someone who regularly gets their name misspelled, I feel your pain Stevphwen
Yeah, it is a lovely part of the country. The further round the coast you go the better it gets
Didn't know you had family from up there. We had a weekend in Dunfermline recently and took a drive to Kinlochleven. Hadn't been there since the early 1990s when I was going to watch Clydebank play Raith Rovers and our supporters bus broke down just outside Kinlochleven
That was meant to say "a belter", which is Scottish for a thing of beauty. If you dont know him, check out Gerry Cinnamon's She's a Belter to see what I mean
Sorry, I came here to say that gag was a better, then I got distracted
Sometimes gags that get huge laughs in the recording room still dont make the cut. Its often to do with what fits the rest of the round and what the panellists have said.
They have 5 or 6 in the script for each round, they are all very different, so the producers have options
At our funerals we now have the option of burial, flames or flumes
Cheers Mike. You're too kind
Always makes it even better when the guests give your gags a hearty laugh. Well done for today
I had the privelege of being Lead Writer on today's #BreakingTheNews on bbc Radio Scotland
Always a joy to be part of the show with some properly funny people #DesClarke @marknelsoncomic.bsky.social

Always good to see your name in the credits. Good work
Cheers Scott. You were on top form as usual. Have a great Christmas too
Great episode of #BreakingTheNews to finish the series, with some of my gags sprinkled about
The panel were fantastic along with Des as always

I had the pleasure of being Lead Writer for today's #BreakingTheNews on BBC Radio Scotland
Its always a joy.
Remember to watch the TV version on the BBS Scotland channel tonight as well

Nice one!
Nothing below factor 20 for us, so won't quite get to Rodgers level on the chart
Well done guys. I listened to the radio version on my lounger in Lanzarote and chuckled away to myself. I Player doesn't work outside the UK so I'll have to wait until next Sunday to give the tv version a watch
If you're not sure what to do with your extra hour tonight, you could spend half of it watching this week's #BreakingTheNews and laughing at some of my jokes

Might start watching Riot Women tonight, the show about 5 menopausal women forming a band. I'll be disappointed if they don't do a cover of Sultans of Mood Swing
Fantastic show again today. Des and the panel were on fire, and some of my gags were in amongst the fun too

Nice one! It was another great show
Im fully on board with getting carried away. I'm the world champion at that when it comes to Scotland
Yeah, it would leave us and Denmark on 10pts, Greece 3Pts, Belarus 0Pts. 2 games left.
This is some performance by your boys tonight. Could easily have been 3 or 4 by now
Can somebody at the SFA please make sure Steve Clarke studies a video of this Northern Ireland performance. 2-0 going on 4 or 5. Brilliant, positive, high energy. Surely McGinn, McTominay, Doak, Gilmour, Robertson, Hickey would love to be set up to play like this
We need to beat Belarus and hope Denmark beat Greece on Sunday to guarantee top 2 place. If we play like last night I can't see us getting anything from Greece away and Denmark at home in the final 2 games, so hopefully done and dusted this weekend
Nothing is sacred anymore. It will always be Windsor Park for me. Although after last night, Hampden Park should be renamed Hide Behind the Sofa Park
I had to Google the exchange rate and also thought it looked really cheap. Im sure you'll have a great time
Oh boy! That looks amazing. I opened the whisky menu, and it's huge.
I've never been to any of the Scandinavian countries, but I'd love to go
