Vim is so fucking cool. It encourages users to find shortcuts by combining simple commands, on the fly, constantly, as they use it. Then bc of how that ends up working, really experienced users can freaking FLY using it. It's just so so so awesome Vim Best Editor RAAA

Regarding LFS though: keeping track of large binaries seems like a distinct task that would benefit from devoted tooling. Would something like a package/image registry be better, if you have large binary files that need to be tracked? I'm curious of what your use cases look like.

git is such a good tool because it is focused on text, code, etc. It handles those things Excellently, and that's what makes it so dominant.
