Some people found the sycophancy hilarious. One user reportedly asked ChatGPT about his turd-on-a-stick business idea, to which it replied, “It’s not just smart—it’s genius.”
Couldn't be coming at a better time 😀
"Copilot quietly grabs your data from other Microsoft products now - here's how to opt out"
"A new setting in Copilot will access data from Bing, MSN, Edge, and other services. You can disable this if you're worried about your privacy."
Privacy horror.

How long is this one?
Merriam-Webster’s human editors have chosen ‘slop’ as the 2025 Word of the Year.
Unsurprising considering the massive investment they have in AI. Hopefully this shift pushes governments and companies to finally start decoupling from the bloated MS ecosystem.
Can’t see any reason for sw engineers to choose Windows with this weird direction they are doubling down on
So odd because Microsoft has building dev tools in their DNA… their OS doesn’t look like anything a builder who wants OS control could choose
Mac or Linux it is for devs
The earliest known example of ‘brain rot’ comes from Henry David Thoreau in his 1854 book “Walden.”
“While England endeavors to cure the potato-rot, will not any endeavor to cure the brain-rot, which prevails so much more widely and fatally?”
This isn’t a hard-and-fast rule, but if a sentence starts with ‘per’ it’s usually a bummer.
This feels like a personal attack
“We believe that in the near future half the people on the planet will be AI, and we are the company that’s bringing those people to life,” said CEO Jeanine Wright.
🤖📈😀
That's very strange. I'll look into it. Thanks for letting me know!
This would make so anxious lol. I have like 5 active emails and they're always clean 😥
holy shit they're still making these lmao
I've only tried the $20 version for both and liked Claude Code more. Ended up canceling my OpenAI sub and sticking with Claude for now. But I do think the usage limits for the $20 Claude Code are a little annoying sometimes.
tbh I feel this way about a lot of subs in recent years
A must watch 👏
Sonnet-4 is still significantly better for me!
If this ain't the truth lol
Love these honest updates because it shows the realities of working on the early stages of a saas startup!
Real for this tbh
A four-panel comic titled "Modern SEO Explained." Panel 1: A person hands a document to a humanoid figure with a computer monitor for a head displaying the Google logo. The person says, "I am an expert and I wrote this for people." Google replies, "OK." Panel 2: A second person hands over a rewritten version of the first document, saying, "I am not an expert and I rewrote what he wrote for you." Google responds, "Ooh!" Panel 3: A third person hands over another version, saying, "I remixed the last guy's content most recently." Google, now turned away from the first two, says, "Fresh!" Panel 4: A large robotic AI machine with many arms waves documents and says, "Never mind these guys. We are the content now." Google enthusiastically replies, "Yes!" The three human contributors are shown panicking or running away. Comic is signed "Datch Haven."
How Google search feels lately...
Hopefully they're working on an "edit post" feature next 🙏
