How you find something! It sounds horrible and my heart goes out to you. I just want you to know that you're posts about fandom and fanfiction bring me joy.

It may sound stupid, but when I had (undiagnosed) gold bladder colics (pain almost as bad as giving birth, but in a way worse because the reason was unknown), the only thing that helped a little was watching supernatural con panels, which gave me great joy at the time.
