Can you imagine? Kind of shocking it didn’t strike, given the week I’m having.
Ah. I’ve never heard that song before!
This is an aftershock to last weeks M5.7. Aftershocks are normal, expected, and can continue for years after an earthquake. Here is more information about aftershocks. wendybohon.com/2023/04/21/w...
What? I don’t get it.

Talked to the vet - Brody is improving! His potassium is going down and his sodium is going up. The vet is optimistic!
The heartbreak we choose.
I’m so sorry. 😞
Wow. This has been a really difficult couple of weeks

We took Brody to the emergency vet this morning and they confirmed that he is experiencing another Addisonian Crisis.
We don’t know if he’s going to survive.
Please send him (and us) all the good vibes.
Hahahahahaha
(Still not feeling great from my surgery earlier this week but I’m up and moving!)
And a huge congratulations to Lisa Wald on receiving the Frank Press Award!! 🥇
Lisa’s contributions to earthquake education and communication have been invaluable and this recognition is both well-deserved and long overdue. ❤️
A woman stands next to a light fixture in a yard. There are flowers nearby and a fence in the background. She is wearing a shirt that says “seismology 76”
I wasn’t able to make it to the @seismosocam.bsky.social meeting but @seislologist.bsky.social
was kind enough to send me this years seismology shirt so that I could feel included from afar. Thanks Adam!
That’s a bummer. 🤞 for next year!
Willits.
Those are gorgeous!!!
