Also, if we want to be pedantic...
That green line actually is ver, which stands for Variable Energy Resources
So some of it is solar, but let's be honest. There hasn't been much sunshine the last few days.

"Around 30-40% of energy generated (versus energy used) has come from wind power. "
***("...IN THE LAST FEW DAYS..." I MEANT TO HAVE THAT SENTENCE IN THERE)***
It has also been real windy the past few days, so that helps. We still need more storage capacity (pumped hydro, batteries, etc).
Anyways, I thought this was neat, I hope you did too.
...end nerd-out...

Around 30-40% of energy generated (versus energy used) has come from wind power.
It's crazy how much wind capacity has been installed in the PNW during the past decade. Almost 3x as much power is coming from wind than from nuclear.
And only 2% is coming from fossil fuels or biomass.
A graph showing BPA Balancing load versus generation. Since Sunday the load has averaged between ~6000 to 8250 MW. During that time, about the same amount of energy has come from hydroelectric. About 3000 MW has come from Wind Power. Around 1100 MW has come from Nuclear Power, and around 200MW has come from fossil fuel and boiomass.
Gonna nerd out for a second... The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) handles electricity generation for much of the Pacific Northwest.
Man. It'd be so much cheaper just to run fiber everywhere.

The Artemis II mission seems good because it is.
People seem excited by it because they are.
It looks like a testament to the value of teamwork because it needs many people working together to succeed, and it’s succeeding.
One of the best things about this is how straightforward it is. Authentic.
This is just so damn cool
That's home. That's us.
This image of home just came down from the Artemis II crew.

By tracking its expansion over a 25-year period and comparing old data with a fresh image, astronomers have been able to measure the relentless growth of the supernova's aftermath.

OK, so it’s official from the President of the United States when someone you don’t like dies it’s OK to say “I’m glad he’s dead” we got it in writing folks

On the screen was a Zoom call with a judge and several lawyers and doctors.
She was in court, a nurse told her. The reason? For failing to agree to a C-section.
