3 seed loses lead at home as underdog evens series at 1-1.
I am, of course, referring to the Denver Nuggets.

Some very correctable issues in this one. Missed FTs the biggest but that bench lineup debacle in the 2Q kept ATL in this one.
Mike Brown: "We just have to lock in and do better."
Said it's tough to win a playoff game when you miss 10 free throws and have 14 turnovers for 18 points.
Still confident #Knicks win the series but just when they’re looking confident & consistent a game like this happens & it doesn’t make you feel better about a Finals run.
Of course 💩 happens. DET lost game 1 at home. Other higher seeds will lose at home too. Gotta be able to shake it off, though.
That’s just what he does. No surprise.
Bad coaching from Brown tonight. Usually on point w/ TOs, but failed miserably w/ them here. Left in that bench group too long in the 2Q & start of 4Q. Never got KAT or Mitch back involved despite huge size advantage. Missed FTs were killer all night, none more so than OGs 2. Whatever #Knicks in 5.
Don’t think he got back in until the final defensive possession. Even if he’s not hitting shots he usually makes a positive impact. More Deuce, less Shamet (who, unfortunately, is useless if he’s not hitting 3s).
#Knicks need to go into Atlanta on Thursday at put boot to ass IMMEDIATELY and not let this group think CJ McCollum and Johnathan Kuminga can lead the to another win.
And now the talking heads for 2 days...fmlfr
Why? Why no TO? Why get it to Bridges who refuses to get closer to the basket? Why?
4Q disaster. #Knicks stopped doing everything that was working for 7 quarters this far. Just straight up lost this one.
They’ll get back to the starting 5 to close tonight.
Great defensive possession followed by a Brunson floater off the KAT pick n pop to be first to 💯. #Knicks need to spam the KAT/JB action from here out.
Knicks have been outscored by 8 points, shooting 4-for-12 (0-for-4 from 3) w/ both Brunson & Towns on the bench.
With Deuce back and Clarkson playing well, that was the reasoning for sitting Alvarado. But there’s still something to be said for intensity and a steady hand at the point, even if he’s not hitting shots.
And right now neither Deuce or Shamet are hitting shots anyway 🤷♂️
Couldn’t be a #Knicks so it’s the next best thing.
Course he’s failing at both just like his stint as NBPA president.
This. 💯
Sometimes it’s the intangibles.
Interior MSG: Jose Alvarado prepares to check into the game in the 3Q.
Narrator: “He had, indeed, learned his lesson.”
Gotta keep ATL out of transition. But when they ca get out themselves it usually spells good things.
Hawks simply can’t keep up with the #Knicks starters. Only reason this game got close was b/c CJ continues to tap the Fountain of Youth and Brown chose to sit JB & KAT together for an extended stretch.
Finally some f*cking pace!
For the Hawks, it's basically CJ McCollum and some Onyeka Okongwu trail 3s against the world right now. Atlanta's 9-for-19 (47.4%) inside the arc, and has gotten just 10 points on 2-for-11 shooting from Jalen Johnson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker combined.
Clarkson still crafty but also can’t get by his man anymore. Been playing great overall though. Just think things would run smoother w/ a true PH out there in non-Brunson mins and then Brown can decide if he needs shooting or scoring from Shamet or JC.
The #Knicks are just how many points better than the Hawks…?
I think he was expecting Mitch to continue rolling but he either stopped or it was cut off. But he should’ve come back to the ball.
Brown always says he wants them taking close to 40 a game, yet it’s always closer to 25 🤦♂️
Hit your FTs #Knicks!!! 😡
Hopefully he learned a lesson.
