Arsenal’s win % drops from >70% to <46% when Saliba doesn’t play 😔😟

First things first - Brighton (A). Gonna be tough!

Regardless, if you want to be league champions, you have to find a way.

Never mind me. Shaking off the nerves before kick off!

Have to keep the faith!

Don’t think we can go into the City game with less than a 4pt gap. The nervous are showing already! I think the Players need the buffer to express themselves without anxiousness taking over. I could be wrong. Just feeling…

Seriously believe Arsenal need 9/9 from the the next 3 league games to have any hope of winning the league. I think City will drop points, just not sure they do before we play them.

Being honest, not been nervous for most of the season. The players/manager are either good enough or they’re not. Don’t think there’s much between City & Arsenal.

Ibr I am nervous about whether Arsenal get through Brighton, Everton & Bournemouth with max points.

Might be an unpopular idea but any chance of an episode featuring an architect who can discuss some of the ideas, options, pitfalls to a potential stadium expansion?

No need for them to be in the know ofc. But maybe someone who can shed light on what’s possible?

Only a suggestion ofc! ☺️

I think if they’re tied for clean sheets at the end of the season then they’d share the Golden Glove.

One thing u have noticed is a large absence of discussion about the actual football yesterday. Everything is purely narrative driven. Very little about what actually happened on the pitch. Even from some of the more “supposedly” reputable outfits.

Woke up and once again all I’m seeing is:

“No trophy for “x” years…”

“2nd three seasons in a row…”

Mikel is officially getting the Wenger treatment from the media landscape.

It’s going to be a long year for these guys next season, especially for Arteta.

a man in a blue shirt says it 's not easy as people think ALT: a man in a blue shirt says it 's not easy as people think

Keep seeing people say they can’t believe we got dragged into a top 4 race.

Liverpool collapsed last year from injuries. City did the same this year until they dropped £200m in Jan.

Having no strikers since Jan, losing your best CB & best player + more for months will do that!

There are people who want me to feel down on my team and manager for repeatedly competing for league titles because one of United or Spurs is gonna win the UEL.

LOOK AT THEM!!! lol FOH lol

Lamine Yamal has the same number of goal contributions as Havertz, Trossard, Martinelli and Jesus combined.

Even if you factor in the injuries, that’s both a testament to Yamal’s talent at 17, while also a damming indictment on our attacking end product.

Love our boys, but killers they are not😔

Had the chance to go to Liverpool, league champions elect. Presumably still could if he wanted to.

Has chosen Arsenal out of all of Europe’s elite teams that wanted him. Just like Rice did. Tells you something about Arteta, Arsenal and this project 🤷🏾‍♂️

Well written Tim!👏🏾

Sometimes football is simple. This team needs x-factor. UCL history is riddled star players producing magic to win the trophy.

At this level, it really is the difference.

We need more magic ✨

A most reassuring read on what’s possibly to come from Arsenal. Lots outside our control this season. I hope we learn and act on the things that are in our control

As for now, I’m proud of the squad and the manager for how they competed this season.

Angry? Sometimes. Disappointed? Ofc. But I’m not losing my head. I don’t believe what we’ve seen this season is the fault of the players or the manager.

My mind is already at July 1st 2025. Bring on Pre-Season!

I’m not exaggerating when I say if we don’t capitalise on the squad Arteta has built rn, It may be another two decades before we have a squad this good again. That’s not an exaggeration. We’ve just lived it.

If the club get this summer wrong, then that may be the death knell of the project.

One last thing, we have a squad filled with some of the best players in the world in their positions (Rice, Saka, Saliba, Gabriel, Raya, Timber etc). That is NOT normal.

Look at Chelsea, United, Spurs etc.

You CANNOT throw away a chance to win trophies with a squad this talented.

I don’t see a squad that doesn’t have the minerals to get over the line. I see a squad who’s able to compete with the best, even with half their squad out injured.

That bodes well.

But I need the club to not leave this squad short again. Give the manager the players that he needs!

I’m proud of the boys in how they tried to get through despite all the red cards, nonsense decisions and injuries.

My only criticism of the club is that, for me, they threw in the towel on the seasons in January.

Not the players or the manager. But the execs. Let our squad hanging…

The annoying thing about yesterday is that, again, we’ve known all the things wrong that needed addressing.

We know we need X-Factor to create something out of nothing. We know we need clinical attackers (we do not have killers in this squad).

Morning people!

I imagine people are anywhere from crestfallen to apoplectic with rage. I’m trying to stay away from all of the obvious slandering the club is no doubt getting online right now.

I’m personally proud of the boys for how they’ve competed this season (a couple of performances aside).

What’s important is the club learns from their mistakes. Can only do what’s in your control. Can’t do anything about the injuries and, to a lesser extent, the red cards.

But this summer needs to be executed to perfection.

We simply cannot build a squad this good & leave it with missing pieces.

People will make sweeping generalisations about the manager, player & club after last night. But we got to a UCL semi with no fit strikers. We’re clearly coached to an incredibly high level.

Injuries killed our chances this season, even with the club falling short in the transfer windows.

11 months ago 1 0 1 0

Hold your head up boys. Put in the effort but the better team won.

Let’s get our signings done early this summer (including a goal scoring striker) and we go again next season.

Bring on 25/26 💪🏾😤
