We asked over 2,000 teachers. In state primary schools, two nights is the clear winner (42%). In private schools? Four nights is most common (53%).
With such low enthusiasm for middle leadership pay rewards, could this be contributing to the sluggish classroom teacher to headteacher pipeline? We plan to ask more questions to find out.

Unfortunately, booking medical appointments around the school day can be tricky and often comes with very little say over when teachers can be seen.
42% of teachers reported booking their last medical appointment during the school day, with 22% needing to be covered to allow them to attend.
