To get a better understanding of how they were reacting to the proposal, we split Tappers in two:

• Without context - 68% said it wasn't enough
• With context (salaries were due to rise 7% anyway) - that jumped to 78%

Unfortunately, booking medical appointments around the school day can be tricky and often comes with very little say over when teachers can be seen.

42% of teachers reported booking their last medical appointment during the school day, with 22% needing to be covered to allow them to attend.
