2/2 We aren't looking for 70-75% opposition to one particularly reckless and criminal white nationalist. We're looking for 55-58% absolute commitment against recklessness, criminal government, and white nationalism.

1/2 The three numbers people will see bounce a whole bunch are 36% support , 63-64% oppose, and "underwater" 20-24% declarations, which all represent the same thing you mention. What I try to get people to abandon is squashing political attitude to one percentage.

I hear and agree with this; in addition, it really seems like center-left politicians who don't listen to Black people also suck at talking to all other people, and this would hardly be surprising. With 90% Democratic support, Black Democrats are the most culturally aware bloc in USA politics.
For the world in the long term? Actually, possibly.
For anybody in the short term? Absolutely not.
Amateur perspective here, but confusion seems magnified by the fact that the term is preferred in IR context by the most pluralistic institutional types (Fukuyama, Kotkin) and in cultural context by racist extremists (Musk, Yarvin)
This is remotely controversial?
Golden crown panadería bread with melted fontina!!!!!
Perfect answer. Thank you!
My last subscriptions have expired, and I've never gotten the people to respond to my concerns. Do you know of successful migrations off of Substack (to ghost) that I can use as an example?
I picked up chicken wings for wife and self twice a month and was always waited on by the same woman, and had exactly that thought. I first saw her without a mask almost a year after the first order, and she _did_ have a beautiful smile with a half-missing tooth right up front for extra character!

@chrisjonesgrass.bsky.social @samguyjones.bsky.social @charliekenesson.bsky.social instantly made me think of Brudder Chris' "NYC Beekeper" joke.
The most interesting Mamdani-fearer to me is David Frum. It seems like a small part of him desperately wants to both-sides Trumpism and the left at least a little, and he says things like "people propose things that don't work, like 100% tarriffs or government grocery stores".
Thank you!!!
BTW, I'm about 15% of the way through translating Pais Jozsef's kartya dot hu chapter on practical ulti play. I'll message you with that when I'm done.
That's the Scandic hotel in Frederiksberg from Bron, where Martin Rohde lived, innit?
And so they had to run to Bonús (Icelandic for Safeway) and stick a pre-baked bread in there to warm up. The presentation went as planned, seemingly without a hitch.
As he was walking to the motorcade, he overheard the Queen--nobody's fool-- saying. "Amazing that it comes out already sliced!"
I've made it 5 times using Bob's Red Mill organic dark rye flour, and I've never been disappointed.
My favorite Rugbrauð story. It takes around 15 hours to bake in a coffee can submerged in a volcanic spring. The president of Iceland wanted to offer her a loaf of Rugbrauð, and his staff forgot.
I have no idea what he even means! What is his point?
A person on a game discord just referred to Candyland as a "zero player game" and I'm dying!
I think of this as "Airstream for somebody real".
What I think about her being such a good recruit like those other two (and to include somebody with opposite politics to me, Pete Domenici in the old days) is that they're hard to hate and most people who like them like them more over time.
Standouts to me are Tammy Baldwin, Jon Tester, and Sherrod Brown. All senate recruits that won where many other people would lose.
Oh! The suffixes! Hi @zdsmith.com . Much discussion of your ulti pages online this week. They were found in archive and I'm working on a translation of Pais's chapter on ulti.
