I'm willing to offer that we no longer have a functioning Congress. Their complicity in Trump's authoritarian rise has essentially erased Congress as a co-equal branch of government. And we all know the Supreme Court has played a role in his authoritarian rise. This is all by design.

This was the plan all along- send congress home for “the holidays” so trump could continue to break the laws.
