So I have started and stopped this book about 3 times now around the 120 page mark, Does it pick up as it seemed like the author had an incredibly in depth style of world building but felt like the payoff was always a few more steps away.

Following the holidays I’m going to pick this up, The premise seems to be right up my alley!
