All the memories I’ve successfully obliterated with drugs and alcohol, but this one persists. It’s not fair.

Parents told me that they weren’t in the room when Dragon was put down.
They let my cat die alone.
I tried to the drugs and alcohol cocktail to forget they told me that, but for once, it didn’t work.
This post got me fighting with my mom…which is not a position I want to be in, even on behalf of my beloved Dragon
Between this and the chat I had with the spitting image of my childhood kitty, this was a pretty great day ngl
I found a tub of Transformers I completely forgot I had today. Neat. Kinda.
Almost everything good in what little there is of my personal life, I have as the result of being Kevin-sensei.
Me, without Kevin-sensei: Nerd filling time before that cold black cloud comes down
Kevin-sensei: Spends nearly every waking moment trying to make things better and more fun for kids, adult students, and everyone involved with education who I work for, with, or around.
I saw a cute webcomic that said something like “everyone is much more than just their job” and I thought that was really nice.

I have faith that it *can* work that Nintendo wouldn’t have allowed it to happen if they didn’t have complete and total faith that it *will*.
I’ve said before that Nintendo wouldn’t allow something to be made with their IP if the pitch wasn’t at least pretty solid.
They got all-the-way hosed with the 90s Super Mario movie, and they will never allow that to happen again.
“Will you forget X2? How many “Last Stands” will there be? They tried to make X-Men Origins but just got more Wolverine.”

That stray who looks like my childhood cat walked over and chatted with me for a bit today.
Even accepted some light petting and scritchies, tho no recording of that.
Kitty is well looked-after by human neighbors
Tried the Gundam tie-in Chicken Sandwich Tatsuta sandwich at McDonald’s.
Not bad for a fast-food sandwich. Lightly-breaded soy sauce and ginger chicken patty with shredded cabbage and a slightly-spicy cream sauce on a very fluffy bun.
Right? Minifigs are like ¥700 each over here, so ¥3,400 for the set was too good to pass up
Yes. It’s an optional part not seen in this shot.
I took this pic just to light-heartedly troll a guy at work who is a big Pokemon fan. 😂
Grabbed lunch at this charming little place in Takashimaya
That’s more than alright, innit?
Lego Speed Champions Back to the Future Time Machine kicks ass.
Bummer about the lack of gull wing doors, but this set is still great, especially for the MSRP.
Palantir are about six months away from ordering their employees to leave audio logs scattered around their offices
I have never needed to make a Lego version of a building so badly in my life
DIY laser eye surgery called Alderaan
Some miserable waste of space complaining about a fan made comic where the proceeds go to charity.
I'm not contributing to the Thunderclash book this year but I support it 100 percent.
If you see an announcement for a fan made book, based on something you enjoy, where the proceeds go to charity, and THIS is your reaction?
I don't want to know you, and I think you should get help.
I could continue this thread but at the end, it’d just be me saying that if you’re nostalgic for the kind of wrestling you saw during the attitude era, then watch AEW. It’s like the combined show you’d have seen if you were flipping between WWF and WCW in 1998.

Wrestlemania 42, by contrast
CM Punk debuted for WWE 20 years ago.
Roman Reigns? 13 years ago
Cody Rhodes? 19 years ago
Randy Orton? TWENTY-FOUR years ago!
Many people consider Wrestlemania 17 to be the best of all time and look who was on the card.
The longest-tenured guy on the card was Undertaker who had been with the company for just about 10 years.
The main event was between two guys who’d been with WWE for barely *five*.
“Bring back the attitude era!” WWE fans will scream until they’re sore, without ever taking into account what made that time period so exciting.
For the only time in the history of the company, Vince McMahon *couldn’t* use almost any established stars and had to “make do” with younger guys.
