The sculptors were really generous. Sadly the mold quality was pretty low back then and some minis are pretty terrible (especially the archers drawing from their quiver).
The others were so nice it was mandatory to paint them with love and care

Here's one of my black skaven for my Mordheim Warband, kitbashed from various clan rats sprue and an Ashewaste nomad claw. He's equiped with fighting claws and a helmet.

He's painted with kimera colors and greenstuff fluo green.
