A blurred, desaturated hand reaching upward toward a large, dark reddish circular shape resembling a sun or void, set against a muted blue background. Overlaid text reads: “Audi Locus: A Journal of Poetry,” “Yawp,” “What do you scream into the void?”, and “Submissions open April 01 – May 31.” At the bottom, it lists “Poems | Music | Art.”

Submissions are open for the next themed issue: Yawp.

What do you scream into the void? What refuses to echo back?

Send us the work that won’t stay quiet.

Promotional graphic for Audi Locus, a literary journal of poetry, celebrating its ranking on the Chillsubs list. The dark blue background is textured with a faceted, gem-like pattern and framed by a gold border. The journal's name is in stylized gold lettering. The center features a large, striking #6 in a neon cyan and magenta gradient. Below the number, the text reads: Chillsubs Best Lit Mags: 2025 and includes a gold laurel wreath containing the words Hidden Gem.

Who's gonna send me something on January 5?

It's amazing how a few weeks away from a poem makes you see the cracks in it. Time is the best editor. Patience is better than any craft book.

🔥 The 2026 FISH List is out! Audi Locus jumped nearly 100 points from last year. That’s not luck; that's doing the work.

For the uninitiated: the FISH List ranks thousands of indie lit-mags, weighing submission practices, longevity, and editorial rigor to point you toward venues worth your words.

A close-up photo of a brown envelope with a handwritten address in black ink that reads: "Pushcart Press, P.O. Box 380, Wainscott, NY 11975." The image is decorated with cheerful digital stickers: a blue text bubble at the top reading "to the post office!!!!", two pink hearts, and a "Good Luck" graphic in yellow and pink cursive script at the bottom right.

First time I actually licked an envelope in quite some time. Sending off our very first batch of Pushcart Prize nominations! It’s been a solid first year of publishing. Proud of the work we’ve put out and the writers who trusted us with it. Here’s to the next one.

You can submit up to 5 mags! And what's really cool, regardless of "winning," is that the tags y'all pick will help label the lit mags in Chillsubs for easier navigation and visibility!

Promotional graphic from "Audi Locus: A Journal of Poetry, Volume 1, Issue 2". At the top, a large blue quotation mark and the text "what is the Greek word for grief you didn't earn" followed by another blue quotation mark. Below, against a painting of a woman with brown hair looking out a window at city buildings and holding a cup, is the title "“ΚΡΑΤΑ ΤΟ ΕΣΥ (you hold this)” By Tess Ezzy" and "Audi Locus: A Journal of Poetry, Volume 1, Issue 2"

In our "Witness" issue, Tess Ezzy turns the eye inward and asks the hard questions: "what is the Greek word / for grief you didn’t earn".

A surreal and striking submission graphic. A woman stands in a dry, golden field of tall grass against a bright blue sky. Her head is replaced by a brass-rimmed circular mirror that reflects the clouds and blue sky, obscuring her face. The text is placed over the image: "CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS" and "SEND YOUR EXISTENTIAL, YOUR SURREAL, YOUR WEIRD" at the top. The categories "POETRY, ART, MUSIC" are stacked on the right. A yellow banner at the bottom reads "OCT 01 - NOV 30" and a footer gives the website "www.audilocus.com/submissions."

Audi Locus is seeking work that explores the strange, the beautiful, and the deeply human. Don't be afraid to send us your most mind-bending pieces.
