5. Commits are immutable. Once public, they’re permanent. They’re law.

7 months ago 0 0 0 0

4. Decentralized commits. Push them somewhere else. You never know 😂

3. Use meaningful commit messages. They often are more useful than code comments.

7 months ago 0 0 1 0

2. Use atomic commits. Small and easily reversible. Squash related commits into atomic ones. Your local repo is your source of truth.

1. Commit early and often

My philosophy on git? I thought you’d never ask…

7 months ago 0 0 1 0

@gitkraken.com Ai-written commit messages and ai-interpreted commit messages are the product of an issue we’ve all faced, not the solution.

If anyone needs me, I’ll be the one feeling old lol

I love @gitkraken.com and use it daily, but I’ve also used git for 20 years and gotta say, you don’t need this if you use atomic commits and conventional commits message formatting. Good git practice never goes out of style.

I really wanted to like Alters but the game kept crashing on me. Barely 30 minutes into stream and it crashed 3 times.

One of my community reports my site being down. Rolled back a change from my phone. Super easy.

The irony that “offendingcommit.com” brought down by an offending commit.

And me posting about it on @offendingcommit.com

Which, btw, go check out the new site. Since it’s up lol

Play on words. It’s fast, it’s cache, and allows me to hyper focus ;)

Yeah, I’m been really digging deep into #mcp and would love some collab/feedback if you’ve got time!

I’ve been toying with NLP with it to add more context to the vector embeddings.

JunoCam captured this image from very close to Jupiter, making Ganymede’s shadow appear especially large. At the time the raw image was taken, the Juno spacecraft was about 44,000 miles (71,000 kilometers) above Jupiter’s cloud tops and 15 times closer to the planet than Ganymede.

An observer at Jupiter’s cloud tops within the oval shadow would experience a total eclipse of the Sun. Total eclipses are more common on Jupiter than Earth for several reasons: Jupiter has four major moons (Ganymede, Io, Callisto, and Europa) that often pass between Jupiter and the Sun, and since Jupiter’s moons orbit in a plane close to Jupiter’s orbital plane, the moon shadows are often cast upon the planet. Jupiter’s bands and clouds are visible, making stripes across the planet in various colors of white, orange, and blue on the poles.
