Yeah exactly.

I use cycles rendering, which is meant for photorealism. But with a bit of practice and knowledge about how light works for 2D art and being bad at making photo real renders, you can meet in the middle lol.

After that I'll add more to finish up the scene if needed and render out a full render for later, do the proper lines, colour etc, then I'll put that render for the background and do a bit of a paintover to get rid of the 3D render-ness and generally blend things together until I have a picture.

Then I'll draw up a rough sketch of what I'm going for to give to a commissioner based on what I've done, but also for myself when I do the full art. Usually all that gets done inside a day.

Not too long to model. I'll tend to get a very general area going and set up a camera to make a composition as soon as possible. Since you only need to make what can be seen. I use posed models a lot of the time with this also to give myself my own reference for my own scene.

I grew up as a kid imagining the future would look very Designers Republic (mostly because I played a lot of Wip3out lol) It's a cool ass aesthetic

Jet is squating and really fucking filling their diaper in a record store while looking through records because he crouched down and couldn't help it but I think "couldn't help it" is doing a lot of heavy lifting, like his diaper.

As Far As The Eye.
It's a roguelike turn-based resource-management game where RNG will just tell you to lose now with no way to possibly plan for it or work around it. I mean literally telling you you need a resource and it not being spawned.

I just find it kind of equal parts amusing and sad that this still continues to pop up in my adult life; being punished for fantasy, for things I never actually did because other people are the ones that can't tell the difference.

I was constantly gaslit into believing I didn't know the difference between fantasy and reality, I was constantly told that my brain didn't know the difference growing up. Which confused me because it was clearly them that didn't understand the difference.

I was suspended for weeks and talked about as if I was getting into fist fights when it was obvious to anyone involved in the playing that we were playing with little to no contact.
My autistic ass couldn't work out why the grown ups were treating us playing like I was beating people up.

I once got suspended for playfighting. I don't even mean rough and tumble rolling around the floor or wrestling or whatever. I mean me and friends were pretending we had swords, not even with sticks, just our imagination and doing dramatic dying etc...

This autism acceptance month got me thinking about what happened to me recently and just the general thing we're constantly facing in various forms and occurances. I keep thinking of what happened when I was a kid at school...

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks all this is happening to artificially prop up the law industry. Having a past boss of the CPS as a PM definitely doesn't help quell the niggling feeling.

I think it's just going to give more people more of a safer way to justify getting people arrested. And we'll see more people stuck in the same year+ (probably going to increase) long unofficial sentence that takes place regardless of innocence.

Because everything is so vague and ripe for abuse that everything is a roll of the dice legally and gives so much opportunity to get someone arrested since there's such a shallow amount of evidence required for an arrest warrant. (In many cases zero)

I reckon that this is just going to help solidify the massive abuse loophole there is in UK law for people to just say pedo and point at someone to have their life destroyed.
