Please re-read - I said "generative AI" is a scourge. I understand plenty of people use assistive AI and at no point accused anyone who uses it of being lazy or cheating.

I have six novels and have never used AI for writing - I don't even use assistive AI. Generative AI is a scourge, not just on creativity but on truth, depth, and independent thought.
