FWIW, Rep. Neal Dunn's office is declining to address reports last week that Speaker Johnson informed donors the Congressman was "terminally ill."
I just received this from Dunn spox Eleanor Railsback:
"I have no comment on personal issues such as Dr. Dunn's health. He has been working as usual."

You cannot talk like this about any other minority in America.

And if it was any other president’s adviser who said something like this about any other minority, it’d be the instant end of their presidency.

5. Yes, I am thrilled by this move, as is my boss Peter Schorsch. We had conversation some months ago about a move, and as these things go, it went from feeling abstract and distant to urgent and unrelenting rather suddenly. I am extremely excited to finally be here full time.

3. Yes, I still have my eyes on other Florida political matters. Something I know after six years with Florida Politics is that my own geographic location doesn't severely hinder coverage. If there is some important reason to be in Tallahassee or elsewhere, it turns out flights are pretty cheap...

2. Yes, I am here full-time. Fate be willing, I am here for many years. My wife, Jennifer Ogles, and youngest, Nolan, are on this adventure with me and completely on board. (My adult kids are still in Florida, as is the rest of my side of the family, and yes, that's very hard)...

Read Santa Ono's declaration for why he is going to be President of Florida, and contrast it with the actual situation in Florida. (Thread below).
He believes and endorses assault on campus speech and academic freedom, at least if it will get him $3M a year.

Are Democrats sleeping on South Florida? And could Jared Moskowitz pay the price? 3 Representatives, including Moskowitz, skipped an Indivisible town hall, and Republicans intend to seize on the absence.

@repmoskowitz.bsky.social is taking heat from the left and right after skipping an @indivisible.org-organized town hall in his district. Could that spell trouble for the two-term Democratic incumbent?

Florida Politics got word tonight there is still no deal in Tallahassee on allocations.
The Senate plans to make an offer in the morning around 10.
But until lawmakers can agree how much to spend, there's no conferencing on how to divvy the pile of money up.
Have heard maybe May 7 for a budget?
