Giant Star-Wars-socks-wearing cat dad Jarrett Allen was amazing tonight. Way to go Cavaliers! #Letemknow
Bonus: crypto is for people who have no idea online payments exist.
Wait. The premise of the new crypto TV spot is that cash is bad because ... wind exists? I have so many questions for their agency.
My colleague @anniewaldman.bsky.social has a bombshell expose on UnitedHealth, how it uses an algorithm originally intended to help flag patients at risk of suicide or substance use to instead flag "overuse" of mental health services. She's got internal documents: www.propublica.org/article/unit...

One of the things I like about Otherscape is there are little scripts embedded in the text that really focus on how to explain what's about to happen.
Updated NGFS scenarios in some cases quadruple the cost of physical climate risks, because this time they remembered to, um, actually include them.
That happens to me basically on the first one and then I spend the rest of the time bemoaning my utter lack of selfie skill or imagination. I am the abyss I'm staring into!

Saw Conclave this weekend. It was great! Kind of like if Knives Out and 12 Angry Men had a baby. Or if The Firm were directed by Bernardo Bertolucci. Eminently enjoyable.
That was really more Hearthstone with DC. I would totally go for just a literal DC reskin of snap. I would play both!

Distracting myself from existential despair with DA: Veilguard. This is a very good game that is in desperate need of more cut scenes, especially interlude style scenes that aren't from Rook's perspective.
Good day for a distraction.

A cartoon reflecting women in red robes, hanging their heads under white caps, standing in line to enter a voting booth. On the other side of the voting booth women are exiting wearing heels and dresses and pant suits, having cast their handmaid’s tale garb aside, leaving them on the ground outside the voting booth

Had exactly this same experience. Also, walking through pools of blight in bare feet?! Euuugh.
It has DA II feels in terms of discreet quest-based chapters so far, but with beautiful diversity of environments. I too liked 2 and drifted away from inquisitions endless meandering. You might well dig Veilguard.
Slow Horses is an absolute god damn treat.
I have people on twitter telling me I don't understand the growth mindset. I am telling them to seek a priest
