YEEES! As with a lot of Blender stuff, i discovered that by accident too lmao XD

(it selects continuous meshes, so only works if there's a break in the geometry. If you've modelled the hair in one go "helmet style" for instance, this won't work - unless you want to select all the hair.)

The power of Ctrl L in Blender is unparalleled. Ever tried to select all the vertices of a hideously dense and overlapping bit of a mesh without it? Horrifying, and i'm never going back.

It even selects separate "objects" within a joined mesh. Need an eyeball? Need an awkward hair strand? Ctrl L.
