We really missed out on having a Danial Craig version of Moonraker. Like, the entire plot with a billionaire eugenicist with a space obsession is just real life now. Its doesn't even go against that dark gritty realistic aesthetic anymore.

Some of the literary allusions in star trek (Especially the Wrath of Khan) seem pretty ham fisted when the characters keeps saying them. But I like to imagine future is post-post irony poisoned. So people in the future actually do take lessons from art and history to not make the same mistakes...
