Per a new Gallup poll: a record 45% of Americans now call themselves independents, including 56% of Gen Z and majorities of Millennials. They’re done with the same old party labels and the same old politicians.

We need to address the spending crisis in DC. In WI, governments are required to balance their budgets. Having served in local govt, I know what real fiscal responsibility looks like. Budgets are a reflection of our values and priorities—but when left unchecked, they can spiral out of control.
Instead, it went toward tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy, and to fund foreign wars and regime change. There’s nothing “America First” about this.
The United States national debt has officially surpassed $39 trillion. 27% of that debt stems from spending during Trump’s presidencies.
Did it go toward fixing our expensive healthcare system? Building affordable housing? Or putting money back into the pockets of Wisconsinites? None of the above..

If he can't stand up against this type of violence when it's clear as day, how can we expect him to stand up for his constituents? We deserve better: real leadership that protects our rights, holds power accountable, and shows compassion for victims like Pretti and Renee Good.
Instead of demanding accountability from Kristi Noem's out-of-control DHS or standing up for American lives, Grothman shrugs it off with "Pretti probably did not have to die" while blaming Minnesota leaders and making excuses for federal overreach.
