i’m hoping it’ll get easier as the semester goes on. it’s already gotten a bit better in terms of getting anxious before class starts, so i’m hoping i’ll start to be able to manage better soon! in the meantime i’m just taking better care of myself on teaching days
no one warned me how physically tiring teaching is. it may be the autism but stepping into the role of professor is genuinely so taxing, i have to just shut down and decompress for a good half hour afterwards.. i’m so glad i built time into my work schedule for that

EXACTLY!! we’ve been renovating after our campus library flooded so it’s been soooo much moving heavy books back and forth 😭 (but luckily the flooding was minimal and really only affected the carpets)
they say working in a library is just desk work but tell me why i’m sweating and panting moving all these heavy books across multiple floors. my arms are SORE
taught my first class today and it went as well as it could have i think!! 🤧
