Zonal Electricity Pricing.
The UK grid, divided into zones. Prices determined by the cost of meeting demand. Areas with surplus electricity (Scotland) would see lower prices, while high-demand regions (South England) would face higher costs.
Why has it not happened?
Erm...wake up Scotland.

Interesting to have gone through the process of getting on the BBC Scotland phone-in (even whacked out on meds at the time).
The producers ask 4 questions:
🟢Are you a candidate standing for election?
🟢Are you a member of any political party?
🟢Have you decided on who to vote for?
🟢Which party?

If your MRP has the Scottish Greens on 10% and two constituency seats but still only on 8 seats overall your model is bad and you are idiots. This has been my initial review of the headline figures from More in Common's MRP.
I asked BBCQT editor, Gerry Guy a couple of years ago, why that last question was mandatory on the audience application:
'it was to ensure impartiality and representativeness'
So is your audience manager impartial and representative?
'next question please'
As the Record today shamelessly distorts the figures on behalf of Anas, how despite 1 320 more referrals, Scotland’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services hit 90% target for fifth time in a row but in media silence

Sample in the latest supposedly 'All to play for' poll has been adjusted, skewed in favour of, the 2024 General Election result when the electorate were duped by Labour 'Change', before Mandelson, and before they screwed everything up and is thus a useless outlier - have faith!

Just arrived in Shetland for a day of campaigning with our excellent candidate Hannah Mary Goodlad for Shetland. Lovely morning!
We are taking our positive SNP message to every part of Scotland.
I wish when the Scottish press touted the results of opinion polls like today's More in Common poll it would point out that polls which base their results on having the Scottish Greens stand in every constituency are necessarily inaccurate. The Greens are standing in only 6 constituencies.

My latest blog piece, less than 3 weeks from the Holyrood election, Labour's campaign lurches from one crisis to another. Sarwar has been forced to claim that a vote for Labour in Scotland is not an endorsement of the Labour leader or the Labour UK Govt.
