unc is not a term of disparagement, it's a cheeky but respectful way to refer to an elder

being unc does not make you automatically uncool. it means that you're a community elder, and thus not privy to youth culture anymore. it can sting to be called unc by a younger person because you are being called old, but it is baseline respectful.
