This is so funny because I, an American working in the US, have been repeatedly harassed out of offices over who I was dating. Bonus for the employer who warned me away from Partner’s family (he still did business with the bad elements) and then got WEIRD when I wasn’t single the next day.
I don’t even do it professionally, but writing for hyperspecific audiences in a style not my own is actually fun and I enjoy it when I need to use the skill. In some ways it’s easier than doing my own writing because the audience and style are so well defined.
