I just finished up Fault Lines A History of the United States of America from 1974 by Kevin Kruse and Julian Zelizer. Very good and recommended.

Maybe 3rd grade and Fudge. Quickly moving on to Iggie's House, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret and Blubber.
To quote @ramijarrah.bsky.social they will talk, we will listen and hopefully justice will prevail.
The path to bring the Assad family and those who ran the dungeons will be slow and may seem hopeless. We must try anyway.
Besides the hundred thousand plus disappeared, there are 12 million #syrian refugees. I can't even imagine returning home with such anticipation and joy and hope and finding no one.
One of the reasons I support Amnesty International. The Syrian Civil War has been devastating for the people. My hope is there is enough cooperation to rebuild the country for the people and not just the few.

Thank you. I am feeling good and strong--physically and mentally. It was a complete fluke in how it happened and I think that was the scary part.

The last time I was here, June dislocated my hip. It has taken just over two years to go back.
2 closed reductions on my right hip to fix dislocation and then a total hip replacement on the left.

Small dog sleeping on a large dog bed. Dog is wearing a sweater that is pink camouflage.
#dogsofbluesky Gator and June would like to report that they did not get to go to the dog park today. According to the humans it was a bit too cold.
This sums it up pretty well.
Dog with black curly fur standing on grass.
Black lab laying down in the grass. Mouth is open and he is panting.
Gator and June are terribly excited to report there is a rumor they are going to the dog park tomorrow.

For the last week or so, we've been getting in a little over a mile a day, but today was nice enough to get 2 full miles. The lab sleeps so much better when he gets a good walk.

This is before the snow and average 16mph winds, and 41 mph gusts.
Ice hockey-the guys in red and white are the team I cheer for. The University of Wisconsin Badgers.
#Calgary is making me cry with their tribute to the #Gaudreau brothers.
For those that are not hockey fans, the Gaudreau brothers were killed while riding their bikes by a drunk driver. Both of their wives are pregnant & it was the day before their sister's wedding.
Pls don't drink & drive.
Work is good. It's the busiest time of year--I work in sales & the end of the year is coming.
It's winter here in Wisconsin. Today was sunny & close to 30 degrees Fahrenheit, so that would be about 0 degree Celsius. Tomorrow the winds are expected to pick up so it will make the temp feel colder
Hello, I am doing well and so is the family. Hope all is well with you too.
This is Gator. He's a good boy. He's a black lab.
This is June aka June the Office Dog. She's part cocker spaniel so has curly fur.

I am thrilled to report today was a beautiful walk and none of us were cold.
Just got back.
Putin might not have been happy, but I certainly am.

Considering how physical being a good d-man is 500 games is damn impressive.
Jaxon was a great call up from the AHL & to get a shut out against Vegas...๐ฒ

Another freezing cold day, another walk. The dogs are good for me. I work from home and they get me out of the house. It's possible for me to spend weeks without leaving the house--that's probably not healthy.
Gator and June
Thank you. I have SO many photos of them.
Credit to Auntie Megz for reminding me.
And the Band Played On is a marvelous #book about the beginnings of the HIV/AIDS crisis. I am glad to see prep meds in my lifetime.

Again our walk was cold and windy, but we still got one in.

I was sympathetic during the first term, but not this time...you voted for this.
