Their idea of Christianity is not the same for every Christian. Some are quite repulsed by it.

I'm going to dissociate, does anyone need anything?
Pope Leo visited a nursing home in the impoverished city of Saurimo, Leo told the residents: āThe care of the weakest is a very important sign of the quality of the social life of a nation.ā www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/news...
Pope Leo not only can speak above a fourth grade level, he can do it in several languages!
The U.S. military struck another boat in the Caribbean, killing three people.
1. As Jared Kushner heads to Pakistan to represent the United States in critical talks with Iran, the media is ignoring a historic corruption scandal.
Kushner is serving in this role while on the payroll of the Saudi government.
Let's look at the data.

From todayās The Guardian. So I guess the talks are off. Or whatever happens.

And we realize the level of contempt the president and those who voted for someone with his history have for the rest of the country. In fact, Trumpās basic attitude toward everyone and everything is contempt.
Don't understand how traders trade these market with all the misinformation, much of it coming from the White House, let alone Iran. Also don't understand the lack of outrage about apparent insider trading ahead of the President's pronouncements. How are the exchanges themselves not investigating?
This is exactly what we need. When Fascism rises, progressives must unite!
I like this idea. (with some limits/reasonable accommodations.)
Really the most stupid thing Trump could have done. That is, if he really wants peace talks on Monday. Provoking those you want concessions from is not a good idea. But Trump cannot negotiate because he doesnāt know how to compromise.

Is it possible to give us a gift link to the article?
This is ridiculous. The media needs to stop covering this. Itās trying hard to create drama and conflict. Giving Trump days worth of attention for this rewards him.
Clearly saying this for his audience of one.
Hard to tell which is worse for an FBI directorāthe drinking or the delusions. But no need to decide because here we have them both.
Families of the children from Minab School sent a letter to Pope Leo XIV, thanking him for his peace efforts and urging him to be the voice for their voiceless children. āWe ask you to continue to be the voice of children without a voice and to strive to open paths of dialogue"
So does a hole in the engine room mean the Marines and the Iranians all sank?
White House reversed yet again, saying #JDVance *is* heading the US delegation to Islamabad for 2nd set of talks w #Iran
But State media: #Iran rejected discussions citing āUS excessive demands, unrealistic expectations, constant shifts in stance, repeated contradictions, & ongoing naval blockade"
10-min analysis on France 24
"This is a man who has never been a practicing Christian; who has been convicted of sexual assault; who has been convicted of fraud, who has repeatedly committed adultery; who has borne false witness on a daily basis; and who has carried out killings"
When simulation becomes the norm, it weakens the human capacity for discernment. As a result, our social bonds close in upon themselves, forming self-referential circuits that no longer expose us to reality. We thus come to live within bubbles, impermeable to one another. Feeling threatened by anyone who is different, we grow unaccustomed to encounter and dialogue. In this way, polarization, conflict, fear and violence spread. What is at stake is not merely the risk of error, but a transformation in our very relationship with truth.
Pope Leo:
He should have to sit and listen to the rest of the Bible being read.
Iran believes (probably accurately) that the US is using negotiation as deception and planning for another round of attacks
Pope Leo at Sanctuary of Mama Muxima: āBuild a better world, welcoming, where there are no more wars, nor injustices, nor misery, nor dishonesty. It is love that must triumph, not war!"
Apparently, he really thought he could attack Iran and nothing like this would happen? The lack of contingency thinking is stunning. Notice, also, his biggest fear is how heāll be perceived.
I imagine his disinhibition and increasing emotional dysregulation are a big problem for those around him.
Whatever happens with the ceasefire, it's worth remembering that even if the war ends, the damage remains. The broader economic consequences are large, and persistent, and affect all of us.
āWe are witnessing astonishing military successes that do not add up to victory and that is squarely on the president and how heās chosen to do his jobālack of attention to detail and lack of planning,ā said Kori Schake, a senior fellow at the right-leaning think tank American Enterprise Institute"
Have been wondering when candidates would start talking about this. One of the biggest corruption scandals is U.S. history playing out in real time.
Then I guess he should have removed the blockade if he didnāt want it closed.
