Reading through Reddit forums like r/professors is often deeply depressing.
Some of the educators on there seem to just really hate their students and teaching and have a reductive us vs them mindset.

Twitter is cratering. Despite the inevitability I still feel sad.
He didn’t buy that place to save it, to grow it…he bought it to shift the Overton window to the right.

Giving a big talk tomorrow in Brisbane about the decline of free expression globally, and its particular impact on LGBTQ+ communities and sex workers, and how it's all intertwined, just as human rights are interconnected. I'm excited and also a bit anxious—this is my first keynote since 2019!
