Yeah, I don't need my job that bad ...

Especially given the city's Covid response.

It's weird that the Chicago Park District does not have a way for you to know what number you are on a waiting list for a class.

She just continues to suck

Because we all know that communicable diseases never spread when people are residing in close quarters like barracks.

If I worked for the Trump administration, I'd probably spend most of my time on the job drunk too.

I've been making that argument for years.

A Well-Aimed Potato: The Klan, Notre Dame, and Today | dansinker.com

This weekend I wrote about the time students at Notre Dame beat the shit out of the Klan. It's a feel good story for the ages. dansinker.com/posts/2026-0...

Oh, it sucked, a lot.

Same, I am a social person who likes doing things and gathering with people in person. It got demoralizing hearing about people who didn't like leaving the house minimizing the impact that social isolation had on others and shaming those of us who hated it. I did what was needed, but it sucked.

My new boss had decided that weekly one-on-ones are no longer necessary, so I must be doing something right.

Watching this guy crash out about a theoretical 8-unit apartment building being built in the middle of a block of single-family homes in an exurban neighborhood is wild. I mean, what developer would actually do that? What bank would fund it? This is not a serious guy.

Thanks. We'll see what happens. I've been pretty lucky to date, so I will just have to roll with the punches here, I suppose, and see what other options I have if this does not work out for me this time.

Oh man, I didn't get into my summer ceramics class and am on the waitlist, and now I'm going to be bummed for the rest of the day. I did everything right too. There are just too many people who want to take the same class.

Oh look, you followed me here after I said I was done talking to you only to post a map that shows population stats by number only, which says nothing about "overpopulation". ๐Ÿคก

What a surprise, the dude turned out to be anti-immigrant.

2 days ago 4 0 2 0

It's obvious that you have bought the racist anti-immigration scarcity mindset hook, line, and sinker, so there is not going to be a productive conversation here. There are solutions to these issues that do not involve demonizing the poor and shutting out immigrants you ignore. Good day, sir.

Nice website, which in no way supports your assertion that the U.S. is overcrowded and needs to reduce our population.

2 days ago 6 0 1 0

I can't believe there is someone here earnestly arguing that the U.S. is overpopulated in the year 2026.

2 days ago 8 0 3 0

Absolute bullshit, you keep making this claim with nothing to back it up despite being called out by basically everyone replying to you.

If we are so overcrowded as you claim, then why do so many states see out-migration as a bad thing and in-migration as a good thing? If we were overcrowded, then state governments would be happy when people left their state for another state and would not be trying to attract new residents.

Our water shortage would be solved if we actually thought about how we used water and didn't do things like pour it down the drain for data centers or ignore sustainable agriculture. We are not overcrowded as a country; give me a break here.
