Of course, there are plenty of walls around here with stumps of wrought iron where fences were cut off "for the war effort" to be melted down and turned into armaments
As I understand it, they weren't used for that, but the effort of recycling helped raise morale

Place I used to work, when they converted a store room to offices, they found some of these on the wall, held there by years of successive paints

I used to think he did a decent job on Working Lunch
Unfettered though, what a fud
Wilhuff Tarkin might disagree
If @wargamesatlantic.bsky.social were noticing, 10mm Dwarf Archers, Dwarf pony riders and some war machines for the forces so far would be groovy, maybe not silly ones like the old bone themed Skeleton ones, but more realistic ones with sets of crew, might be nice
We used to have a German Shepherd that chewed through cans, always hungry, not an extra gram in it, big soft lump that it was
No worries, don’t dig them out, just if you come across them in passing
After the 2 disc set of SPACED came out, a three Disk “souvenir” set came out
I remonstrated with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, calling them “Landos” for the cash in
They apologised, but blamed Channel 4
A nice morning cycle, not going to happen this year, but a crisp morning with the sun not blinding me and peddling out
Or following an idea along and watching it grow, take form and complete, whether writing something, putting code together or painting toy soldiers in a way to tell a story
Ah, tyres
Needs a strong, sweet tea
And a biccy
If you ever want to post photos of the dwarves, that would bring some joy
Those ones I don’t think so, but yes, I do have some real lead ones
Good idea, this one has been up for several unproductive, boring, frustrating hours and it is getting cranky
Today - what a flipping palaver!
If only I had the graphics skills to put your face onto Steve Rogers body and put a suitable symbol on the suit

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Bathtubs on wheels off the Shoulder of Holmfirth...I watched stockings wrinkling in the dark near the garden gate..."

Need to get some space cleared because adult stuff, and some photos of current project taken, but next in the table is “Dwarves: Goats vs ponies”
Four dwarf archers
A line of Dwarf miniatures with mostly two handed axes in front of similarly scaled orc minis
Most of these dwarves are late 1980s Grenadier
I should rebase the ones on Slotta Bases onto lower bases
I have a fair few dwarves that don’t fit my notion of Middle-Earth in both 10mm and 28mm, so some more Wagnerian dwarves bringing the more colourful vision appeals
Thank you all, especially @geekgirllyssa.bsky.social and @agentpumpkin.bsky.social
You have helped me come to a goat decision I am happy with
Of course, I guess the final word should go to @goatmajor.bsky.social
Might include Spear and Magic Helmet, shield maidens, goat riders, and Gotterdamerung
The thing that prompted this was @mogsymakes.bsky.social ‘s Iron Valley campaign for Midgard, with a heavy German theme over Middle-Earth
So I am tempted either the fun idea of goat-riding dwarves for a Wagnerian Dwarf vs Trollkind game campaign using the Iron Valley
1/2
The “short rest” does a bit of a reset already
A slow burn regen (assuming no danger) seems interesting 2/2
Caught me out in Star Trek Combat Simulator, being used to ablative shields in SFB, doing a broadside, turn, broadside in the newer game was not as effective as the shields regenerate
If you take HP in D&D as pushing your skill and luck (as per Gary Gygax) then that makes sense 1/2
I do not fault your logic at all, and it kind of nods to Thor’s hosts, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr
No, you are spot on, there are goat riders, many, many, it was just Dain on boar
As to figures
GW for their wargame
Fireforge do some
Wargames Atlantic
And a lot of 3D prints
