I spend one week without my computer and I'm suddenly seeing Moon Child everywhere, I love him.

Digital bust sketches of Baron, an elderly, red tyrannosaurus rex sporting a white beard and mane. The leftmost sketch is shown with a slight scowl and a scarred left eye, whereas the rightmost shows a subtle grin.
Tentative, early sketches of a rather frightening (yet ultimately friendly) rex. Trying to go for a sort of ancient, renowned warrior type of look. Still experimenting with just how far I can push feathers and fuzz into looking like hair. #ocart #dinosaur

Screenshot of the Mole Miner Max boss battle in Donkey Kong Country Returns. Professor Chops is in the train telling Donkey Kong to "TRY HARDER". Source: info: reddit.com user "FlashyTie5327", image: screenshot taken by Supper Mario Broth
An obscure functionality of Donkey Kong Country Returns is that if Donkey Kong spends 3 full attack cycles of a boss not damaging it, Professor Chops will pop up telling him what to do, e.g. "BOP NOW!" In the Mole Miner Max battle, the tip is particularly condescending, being simply "TRY HARDER".

Digital Drawing. A group of three small dinosaurs (Morrosaurus) have stopped to drink from a river. Across from them stands the edge of a lush, dense forest.

reposting a 2018 twitter thread thats spookily related, from LittleBigPlanet 1: 2 weeks to gold, a Japanese QA tester started reliably crashing the game by leaving it on over night. We could not repro. Like you, days of confirmation of identical environment, os, hardware, etc; each attempt took /
This is really specific but I love when the Kirby games use the sleep ability as a stage hazard cause then you start getting level design like this

Play Cool Spot on Genesis and you'll hear what I mean
Latest repost reminded me that in my mind Cool Spot would sound EXACTLY like Here Comes Pacman if permitted to speak
Sure, there have been plenty of great mascots throughout the years, but only 7Upβs COOL SPOT got their own pair of dollar store sunglasses. (1988)
Of course, the aesthetics and atmosphere of the PS2 version are also a lot stronger than any of the rereleases, too.
Most people already talk about that, though, so I wanted to focus more on the gameplay experience first.
Having recently finished the original PS2 release of Persona 4, I think I actually prefer it over Golden.
While Golden introduced a lot of very welcome changes and improvements, I think the tighter balance and more limited tools available to you in the OG give it a stronger sense of push and pull.
this is the type of encounter u get directly after recruiting Ana and she's lvl 1
Sentenced to Mother 1 Duncan's Factory with no map. Original encounter rate.
