psa: if you find bird bones, unless you can 100% identify it, don’t take them! birds are protected under the Migratory Birds Act and it’s illegal to have parts from them.

Critically, house sparrows are NOT protected under the act, so that is not an issue here.

This is Dulcie, a house sparrow that we found in front of our house. This is one of my first projects like this with bones. It’ll be hard to part with her, but I am thrilled with the art I was able to create 🖤
