Every Friday, we want to share a game or a studio we admire.
Today, we must confess about our late December 2025 obsession… Proverbs! A fantastic puzzle game where you slowly uncover a pixel-art version of Bruegel's Netherlandish Proverbs.

Every Friday, we want to share a game or a studio we admire.
This week: the wonderful team at Grey Alien Games who has been delivering a creative mix of solitaire and narrative for the past… 21+ years.
Their next game, Forbidden Solitaire, is coming out soon:

It's been a week since the release of DEAD IN ANTARES by @ishtar.games!
We had a blast supporting the team and writing the dialogues for this great mix of strategy, RPG, resource management, and visual novel!
Check it out on Steam:
Today is a very special day — @iamleyeti.bsky.social is 40. A good reason to stay in bed!
What are you playing / reading / watching this weekend?
I'm quite obsessed by OCTOPATH TRAVELER 2 which I hope I'll be able to finish before 2026 ends…
MIO is out and getting raving reviews!
We helped the team polish their incredible story:
✏️ Cindy Asselin de Beauville — Narrative Support & Audit
✏️ @rikgodwin.bsky.social — Additional Writing
✏️ @iamleyeti.bsky.social — Narrative Support & Audit
✏️ Matthew Willis — Narrative Support & English Polish
What are you playing / reading / watching this weekend?
For my part, I'll be finishing 1998 THE BROTHER'S WAR which is… yes… a Magic the Gathering novel by Jeff Grubb. (it's way better than anticipated)
Good morning, everyone!
What are your projects this week?
I still have to finish a ton of very small and very short tasks from 2025 I really need to solve… Nothing very exciting, I'm afraid.
Oooh LAUGH TRACK looks very cool.
What are you playing / reading / watching this weekend?
I know I'll be playing a few chapters of THE CASE OF THE GOLDEN IDOL and laugh as I solve the creepiest murder ever.
Pour le moment c’est complet, désolé.
Come on people with money! Half the art planet is knowingly or unknowingly influenced by this artist.
What's fantastic is how big this design space actually is and how we fallback for various reasons (money, time, style, experience, etc.) to the same reused features or consequences.
Of course, I’d argue (with more space) that the story is not the game artefact, but the space between player, experience & design intent.
So that’s why I use the specific term ‘[choices don’t need] *mechanical consequences*’ to make meaning.
Thanks to this post for allowing me to expand on that!
We recently read this excellent article by @hannahnicklin.bsky.social about one of our favorite games, South of the Circle and we had to share!
Choices don't always have to change the story, it can be about how we perform it.
Good morning and happy new year!
This week, our team is finishing up one project and resting a bit before 2026 properly starts. We cannot wait to show you the cool upcoming games…
Have a nice week!
Only six slots left.

DEAD IN ANTARES has a demo available right now and it's one of the most generous demos we've seen in a while!
Hello world!
This week's all about writing down the last words for two exciting projects:
🚀 DEAD IN ANTARES
🤖 BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: SCATTERED HOPES
Both games should already be in your wishlist!
What's coming for you this week? Writing anything cool? Brainstorming a cool idea?
New game released!
At the start of 2024, we had the pleasure to help the team at @ludogram.io to polish the narrative and the dialogues for their latest game… A BETTER WORLD!
✏️ Anthony Jauneaud, addition writer and narrative support
The game is out right now on Steam!
Starting next week, @iamleyeti.bsky.social will be mastering a course about prototyping for game narratives with short stories!
You'll learn how to use short stories to set and share your vision for any game project.
And…
💰 There is a discount at the moment!
Prometheus and the eagle using a neutron energy pump
Three years ago, FLAT EYE was released. It's one of most complex games I worked on and while it was underwhelming for… reasons, it had one in-game ad I loved working on with the team.
The ad showed Prometheus and "his" eagle happily using a neutron energy pump. (don't mind the placeholder text)
The excellent folks behind ASTRAL ASCENT launched their new Kickstarter for FALLEN FATES!
www.kickstarter.com/projects/hib...
It's already gorgeous and exciting!
For the past two years, we’ve been hard at work, supporting the team and their vision, and writing stuff like « I’ll airlock that motherfrakking Cylon! »
