Ops, distribution, and marketing are all hard. And hard to automate.

Find people talking about the problems your product solves and engage with them.
Rewrite all your social profiles to advertise what you’ve built.
Accept that no one cares about you, they only care about how what you’ve built can help them.
Launch daily, weekly, and monthly. Always be launching
And niche founders with experience already have these in spades.
So, what's a painful workflow that you've dealt with forever? And why don't the tools you're currently using work?
But product is easy to build now — AI tools like Replit and
Claude Code have collapsed the barrier to entry, just like
Bubble did during the nocode boom.
Distribution, marketing, and operations (i.e., building a real business, not just a Product Hunt launch) have always been the real problem.
➡️ Professional network = initial distribution
➡️ Domain expertise = content
➡️ Years of real experience = social proof
➡️ Deep industry knowledge = moat
Everyone gets hyper-fixated on product. Because it's fun.
The best SaaS founders aren't SaaS founders.
They're real estate brokers. Lawyers. Construction managers. Team leads who've sat through the same broken workflows for 10, 15, 20 years — and finally decided to act.
Their experience creates an execution advantage you can't buy or learn on Youtube:
Why is truly high quality UX/UI so difficult?
You know it when you see it (Stripe, Linear, Notion, etc).
But producing it is another thing entirely.

The struggle is real . . .

The best wireframing tool isn't Figma or Miro or Balsamiq. It's an ASCII diagram in Anthropic's ClaudeCode. It's like drawing on the back of a napkin in sharpie, but with the command line.

If you could only keep two subscriptions in 2026, what would they be? I’ll start . . .
1 - @anthropicai.bsky.social's Claude Max — for Claude Code
2 - Replit's Core plan — for its full stack dev environment
That’s an "I can build almost anything” stack.
Insane leverage. Unbelieveable price.

🚩 "Users will expect" → You don't know that yet.
🚩 "It'll only take 2 hours" → No, it will take three weeks.
🚩 "I'm almost done with" → No you aren't. What you really need to do is ship it.
🚩 "Wouldn't this be really cool" → Not unless you've validated demand first.
Overbuilding kills startups. New founders fall into it fast. Here are 6 red-flag thoughts that prove you’re building too much, too soon:
🚩 "I just need to add" → No you don't. Vegetables before dessert.
🚩 "But competitors have" → Who cares. You're distracted. Regain focus.
Speaking of which, big changes coming soon . . .
#solofounder #bootstrapped #nocode #lowcode #marketplace #startuplife #founderstory
No shortcuts. No bullshit. Just grit and a willingness to ship ugly product fast in order to get real feedback, iterate, and pivot. Then rinse and repeat.
The bootstrapped solo non-technical founder motto: #justshipit.
And over the last two years, we've grown to support building apps in Bubble, @weweb.bsky.social, @nocodebackend.bsky.social, @supabase.com, Lovable, and Replit.
But turning a marketplace into real revenue is probably the hardest thing I've every done (yes, harder than PhD philosophy exams, the previous contender).
But . . . Bootstrapped is now the #4th most visited Bubble app in Oregon and we just passed $325k+ in revenue.
I’m a non-technical, solo, bootstrapped founder.
Which means nothing about building Bootstrapped has been easy.
Building solo is hard.
Building a marketplace is harder (I don't recommend it).
Tools like Replit + Bubble + Lovable help you ship something people will pay for. The real feature is revenue, not the perfect stack.

Spend the time and money you’re wasting on endless clicks building something that actually works for you.
Comment “I feel seen” if you know what I mean and want some free advice over a zoom call.
#excel #smallbusiness #customsoftware #nocode #workflowautomation
What you should have:
– One source of truth.
- Unbreakable inputs
- Workflows tailored to how you actually work.
- Comprehensive, always-up-to-date dashboards.
- Roles, permissions, and automation — all built in.
– hacky formulas held together with duct tape and superglue
– routines that break when that one person is gone
You don’t need a “smarter spreadsheet” (Sorry, Airtable)
You need a custom web app that matches how your business actually runs (using Bubble or Replit).
Every task takes extra clicks, extra checks, and extra re-typing because nothing is actually connected.
The symptoms are always similar:
– the same data in multiple places
– five versions of the same file
– too-many-tab syndrome in every spreadsheet
If you’re still running operations for your small business in Microsoft Excel, I’ve got news for you:
You don’t have “workflows.”
You have a dangerous mess that is ready to break the minute you mistype a comma in your triple-nested “IF” statement.
