Yet another sad reminder that there is a two-tiered justice system in America: One for the rich. Another for everyone else.
🤨🤨
Imagine if instead of spending billions of dollars supporting terrorists or weapons, the United States had spent that money helping the people of the United States
Millions of American voters wanted to be villains. They came to believe it’s the key to success, while goodness is weak, woke, loser stuff, done only to signal.
Offered the option of unvarnished villainy, they enthusiastically took it. Seeing others suffer more made them feel big.
And here we are.
Kids in High School: “I don’t understand why I have to take basic science classes. When I am ever going to use this stuff in my life?!” As adults: “Vaccines cause autism, GMOs are unsafe, climate change is a lie, and the earth is flat. I’ve done my research. If you disagree with me, you’re sheep!”

Years ago when Cory Feldman came out about being abused in Hollywood, Barbara Walters told him he was hurting an entire industry by exposing that abuse.
I said then, "if your industry relies on protecting child molesters, then it should be hurt and deserves to die."
Sadly, more relevant than ever.

Let there be as much outrage from politicians in Washington when kids go hungry as there is when I break bread with New Yorkers.
It implies that we are visitors in someone else’s country.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Eisenhower
Quote from Washington Times editorial board "[Radical liberals] don't realize that, when they express contempt for the man who holds the country's highest office, they reveal their contempt for the Americans who put him there."
Uh no...we definitely realize it.
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."
-Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1953
Yeah, I think there's an assumption that there must always be 1 main thrust and everything else is a distraction.
But enabling the Epstein Class, disenfranchising voters, unleashing ICE, and destabilizing the Middle East for Oil, Gas & Military Corporations are all prongs of the same fork.
Seems to be the pattern…
They did a much better job selling the WMD story back in the day than today’s version.
there are a lot of people working in the government right now who want to intentionally trigger an apocalypse to create the conditions for the return of jesus christ and I know how crazy that sounds but its absolutely true
this is what they said it would be like under socialism
Authoritarianism is rising because our democracy was failing before Trump.
When pro-democracy forces take back power, we can’t just restore the status quo. We need to change a political system that gives oligarchs a veto over working people.
We need a new democracy.
Doing one thing right every few years doesn’t absolve the Roberts court. Especially after Dobbs and immunity.
Me: I dream of living in a society where everyone has secure housing, food, and universal access to at least basic medical care. Not my family. Not people who look like me. Everyone.
Conservatives: But what about freeloaders?
Me: Everyone.
Cons: But what if they...
Me:
Don’t make me tap the sign Simpsons meme. The bus driver is pointing to a sign that says Billionaires aren't geniuses, they're professional labor exploiters with no attachment to reality
"We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both." –Justice Louis Brandeis
Words spoken many years ago that are just as relevant today.
We must continue the fight to get big money out of politics.
I guess it helps some people sleep better at night, but if your very first reaction to someone having a different viewpoint is to make the assumption that they couldn't possibly be a real person, because no real person would disagree with your infinite wisdom...
You should think about that.
It's crazy that in 2026 so many people here are still defaulting to the "everyone I disagree with is a Russian bot" argument.
Are there Russian bots here? Of course.
But I think it represents a real problem with society that so many believe that no real person could possibly disagree with them.
