So stupid, as it was certainly possible to collect opinions on the concept of drawing new maps. Just a total farce. I showed up just to do my part to beef up the attendance numbers.
was even more useless. You were told that you had to check the "neutral" box, instead of "approve" or "disapprove " because at that time the maps hadn't been drawn yet.
Last summer there were several "town halls" across TX which supposedly gave people a chance to voice opinions. I went to one at the University of Houston. The signup list to actually speak publicly for a couple minutes far exceeded the allotted time, and the option to leave a written opinion
But I learned to hate Republicans after I watched them capitulate to Cantaloupe Caligula.
Let’s have an improved USAID that feeds people but doesn’t try to topple other countries’ governments.
There were multiple failures, from the cowards in the GOP Senate faction who declined such an easy & obvious off-ramp during 2nd impeachment, to Garland’s foot dragging, to the voters who conveniently forgot how much of a clown show Trump1.0 was. The fault & the blame can be spread over a vast area.

Thank you for saying that to that foul barbarian’s face. He won’t mend his evil ways, but he needs as much sunlight focused on him as possible.
I can’t process people thinking that it was a good idea to return that fool to the Oval Office.
So when you say “impulsive style” you really mean “doesn’t have clue one about what he’s doing“, right?
That’s a good one. Adding it to my list of insults.
…monarchy doesn’t strike me as an improvement. No sympathy for the current regime but going backwards isn’t good either.
“..Pahlavi has intensified his efforts to promote himself as the most viable leader of a post-Islamic Republic Iran. ”
No sympathy for people who are mad about the specific flavor of the oppression, instead any oppression. The Shah was a nasty bastard and going back to the former…
So HEB is even better then.
I had friends in CA who did just that. They did not like gerrymandering but wanted to counter the shenanigans of the TX GOP.
As did Bibi.
Want, want, WANT!
The fact that food deserts exist shows why the private sector isn’t the solution for all problems. Sometimes you need the public sector to get involved.
My sports betting is limited to wagering a 6-pack with my brother on our respective college sports teams.
These tech bros talk far more about AI eliminating jobs than how people who lose said jobs can pay the bills. People with nothing left to lose can become dangerous.
Amen. Enough of war and unnecessary bloodshed!
Everything
Nice colors! Here’s one of mine.
For some reason I now want a Tequila Sunrise.
I’m hoping that the example he’s setting gets followed In more cities. Local government has less tolerance for BS. People notice if the trash doesn’t get collected and the potholes don’t get filled. Being a Mayor or Governor is probably the best political experience for those willing to learn IMO.
He so obviously loves NYC.
I have not seen it, and hope the keep it that way.
She is vile and selfish just like her pig of a husband.
Ex-Catholic, but much respect for Pope Leo. Right and wrong are so obvious here.
This was me at the last NO KINGS. Citizens United was #1 on my political shenanigans shit list.
