The difficulty I have is the need for a simple definition/label for the sex and gender of any particular character (or person for that matter) for tagging reasons (aka easy searchability)

I see, that makes sense, and it is kind of frustrating from that angle. Any suggestions for simple alternatives?

Genuine question (from a transfem enby): why are terms like "futa" so bad? Isn't it just a single word term for "female with dick"?
