This is very interesting! I laughed at the width of the confidence intervals for liberals with literal interpretations. I was initially curious how many "literal" liberals there were, and that seems to indicate :p

It's difficult to maneuver parents who were trump voters, that argued I was being dramatic in my opposition, but are now also scared of his policies.

Being on a book award committee is one of my favorite post-PhD decisions. It's exciting randomly receiving new books in the mail without having ordered them.

That said, I didn't expect so many PDF book submissions and the reading list is starting to get daunting lol.

Watching tiktok go dark made me sadder than I was expecting. So many people just lost access to their communities and livelihoods.

I'm considering giving my stats students my dissertation dataset for assignments. I'm thinking it may be slightly more exciting to analyze gendered video game usage than a generic dataset.

Reading course evals always makes my day. Now, if only I could get these hiring committees to see the me that my students do.

Slowly rediscovering who I am post-grad school. First on the docket is to reconnect with my body--I've started running every night to lose the grad school weight. Next, I'm hoping to start reading for pleasure again.

I'm missing my students, because they would have loved talking about all these Luigi men l memes.

I'm feeling great, having finished my first semester as a professor and returning to Cincinnati to formally graduate. Now, just to land a TT position in the next year!
