“Samson said she didn't see the break coming, but that she had no doubts that "something or someone" had pressured the UCP-appointed members to come up with a minority report.”

Another original commissioner member has stepped forward.

The application has remained stable since the evening of April 16 and we have seen no evidence of unauthorized access to private user data. Given the ongoing stability, this will be our final update.

Yes. I totally understand. I’m wondering what the winter will bring with the change. I’ve read several articles claiming standard time is the way to go. However I welcome a stop to changing the clock either way.

Ian Millar riding Big Ben during a show jumping competition, captured mid-air over a jump. The horse is stretched forward with front legs tucked tightly and hind legs lifting off the ground. Millar leans low over the horse’s neck, wearing a red riding jacket, white breeches, black boots, and a black helmet. The jump includes a red-and-white rail with a flower arrangement in a large decorative planter to the left. The background shows a blurred indoor arena crowd.

Big Ben was a champion.
With his rider Ian Millar, he earned $1.5 million in his career.
Not only is he one of the few non-humans in Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, he has been honoured with a stamp and a statue.
This is the story of a legendary horse.

Opinion: When an oil shock is renewable energy’s best friend Trump’s war on Iran has done more to cut oil use than any carbon tax

"the sensible thing would be for the country to use its windfall to help build its emergent renewable sector and not double down on a declining one. The world of the future will look very different from the present one."

In this video, Canadian PM @mark-carney.bsky.social talks about how Canada was formed when the people were united by a common foe.

There is a strong lesson for Europe here today, as we face our common foe Russia. When we are united as Europeans, we can withstand anything.

Let's make electoral boundaries boring again Years ago, I was at a political science conference where the after-dinner speaker gave a history of electoral boundary processes in Canada.

“The Premier… stated (incorrectly) that the retired judge who had chaired the commission raised the possibility of using voters, rather than residents, as the basis for drawing boundaries.

It wasn’t the Chair, but rather the two UCP appointees who suggested this”
