pendulum my beloved π
The only reason why I got into using s&box is because I fucking love the S2 hammer :(
the best part about twitter is that the age verification is so broken that it works perfectly
i haven't updated the app and nothing is blocked, and nothing is blocked on the web app. literally never did the verification
literally impossible to keep up with any of the nsfw artists I like that moved here because of bluesky's shit implementation
every platform BUT BLUESKY properly detects me as an adult. ts is genuinely so fucked
1. it somehow doesn't think I'm an adult
2. credit card verification doesn't work *because not everyone has a fucking credit card*
3. and ID verification doesn't work BECAUSE MY ID ISNT FUCKING SUPPORTED
gee thanks bluesky
age verification doesn't fuckin work because it never likes my bangs
this is why I stay on twitter, because the age verification actually works if your forehead isn't visible
Service has been restored to all communities. We're truly sorry that service has been unstable for the past few days but it's just two of us trying our best. If you have any unavailable communities in your sidebar, you should be able to restart your client to see them. π
We are currently working on resolving the elevated error rates on the API.

huh???????????????
Seattle has a fucking vampire problem
holy shit fluxer is nearly at 100k users :3
𧡠Regarding Discord alternatives.
The amount of misinformation, fear and things taken out of context is fucking insane right now.
1/8
fluxer so good that the founder/lead dev fixed a DoS vuln in 30min
1. public beta solo dev (backend is also being refactored)
2. that's a good thing :3
jfc π
i could build a better search feature by running fucking sanitized regex queries on the db lol
WJS search is ass lmao
I also hate that it's made in fucking JavaScript
they are coming to perth :3
was announced in the beginning of January and I'm seeing them on the 8th of March with my wife!!!
good :)
im more than happy to fuel the revolt/stoat hate train :3
for more context to why i hate stoat, please see this twitter thread and the associated discord chat logs: fxtwitter.com/cybercatb0y/...
currently, the fluxer refactor now has more features than stoat (and feature parity). fluxer is the clear winner when it comes to literally everything, and there's a competent founder behind fluxer, while insert is (pretty much) screwing up every possible move and being a jackass.
stoat is not a one-person project (see screenshot).
there have only been 2 contributors so far to fluxer (see other screenshot)
stoat has had hundreds of contributors over the past 5+ years (incl myself, even though it was a small patch)
it's also insane that fluxer has more features than stoat, even though fluxer has only one developer and left the private beta a few months ago (which started in 2023 iirc)
i also didn't include the other repositories in stoatchat, since they're all less than 1k stars and have a super high chance of being duplicate users when compared to the backend repo. stoat's stars are backported from the old revoltchat repo, since the repos were moved and not copied
LMAO fluxer has over taken stoat in github repository stars
fluxer: 3k
stoat: 2.6k
insane for a repo that's <2 months old and a project that's nearly as old as stoat
i think this is more than enough to confirm that fluxer is the stoat/revolt killer
Meanwhile stoat needs to rewrite everything because they've hit architectural limits that insert has known about for years
I have barely had any issues with stability so I don't know what you're talking about. The only thing that isn't returning is Fluxer HQ
The big update is still being worked on and the founder has probably had fuck all sheep judging by their messages
could've had secrets/tokens in the codebase. could've also had crap that they didn't want in the git history. also they could've added the license wayyy later on in development, so all previous code is technically not under MIT. there's a lot of reasons to squash the history of a project to go open-source. I did that :p
Also the current source code is available. Commit history was squashed since it was being worked on in a private repo
