it’s such a bummer because so many artists and local folks are sharing cool stuff happening on instagram, and I love that part of it (and also seeing things that friends are doing) but the reels part of IG just sucks me in too much. The brain hangover is an apt way to describe it, thank you for that

Tomas Totland would start for most teams in MLS but doesn’t for a team that has one win.
The Charleston Battery and Tampa Bay Rowdies line up and lock arms as the USLPA and the USL Championship's CBA negotiations carry on.
Two panel comic. Panel 1: Godzilla emerges from the depths of the sea. Panel 2: he’s standing in middle of nowhere Ohio looking confused and unimpressed. There’s a sign by his feet that reads: WELCOME TO OHIO - Home of the
We’re really lucky in a lot of ways here - Indianapolis can’t even have light rail because the state made it illegal!
POV: You're a retainer
I feel the same way. Was only gonna be funny if we didn’t suffer the same fate
was regretting not wearing the sang bin kit until the scorcher from Joyner. Winning is fun! #AllForCITY
got the joyner kit on, let’s get it
THE OPEN CUP IS BACK 🙌
See you tonight at Energizer Park! 🎟️ www.stlcitysc.com/opencup
of course it affected our opponents also but man was it bad. One of the things I miss about tennis is that wind didn’t nearly matter as much. I feel like such a little baby complaining about it in pickleball but it really matters a lot!
whoa i LOVE the lego dice tower. I assume that's a custom build?
1-1 in the second week of pickleball league, 2-2 overall. Not too bad for the first time back since October! It’s been so windy too 😅
What if Nintendo Switch 2 was called Nintendo Freak 2 and it ate ass and sucked toes
Multiple police vehicles stopped and multiple police outside of cars while cyclists are spoken to by another officer. A bump out is seen in the foreground.

Alderman Browning speaks to a crowd of 30+ protestors at Kiener Plaza
Today’s downtown protest about the bump out removal had one driver behave so aggressively that they intentionally slammed into a cyclist during the 45 second protest. The cyclist is okay. Even though police were literally on scene to watch us, they did nothing to prevent this, just responded after.
@danabra.mov nerdsniped me into building a small communities-on-bsky experiment:
atmo.garden
how it works:
- create a community on atmo.garden e.g. atproto, will automatically create an acc: @atproto.atmo.garden
- send DMs of bsky post to that acc and they will get reposted or quoted by that acc
A dialog in macOS for passkey authentication. The OS is using dark mode, but the inner part of the dialog is using white text, making the options unreadable
very cool macOS, very cool
Per the emails, the city removed these bump outs at the request of the mayor’s office on behalf of the Hilton valet line and we as taxpayers paid for it.
Thankfully my current coffee inventory isn’t really data I mind leaking, but that’s a useful constraint to know
I really just want to sideload apps for free Apple pls, that would be much easier
[alt text by NASA] The Moon, seen here backlit by the Sun during a solar eclipse on April 6, 2026, is photographed by one of the cameras on the Orion spacecraft’s solar array wings. Orion is visible in the foreground on the left. Earth is reflecting sunlight at the left edge of the Moon, which is slightly brighter than the rest of the disk. The bright spot visible just below the Moon’s bottom right edge is Saturn. Beyond that, the bright spot at the right edge of the image is Mars. Credit: NASA
Whoa 🤯
The Moon, in full eclipse, with the #Artemis II Orion spacecraft. Part of the Moon and spacecraft are lit by Earthshine, and both Saturn and Mars are visible to the lower right. Incredible. Details: images.nasa.gov/details/art0...
There’s also the more drastic option of just swapping to Android, but that involves buying a new phone (almost certainly more than the $99, at least for now) and I’m not sure I need to do that right now
If so, would be really cool. I have a silly app idea to keep track of the coffee beans I have around and how long they’ve rested, but I don’t really want to pay the developer program fee for that…
Apple requiring me to pay $99/year to put self-developed apps on my phone is annoying and has me thinking about alternatives. I don’t totally get how ATProto works yet but sort of seems like I could use it as a way to store data for a web app I host on something like GitHub Pages?
Road safety features were removed quickly in downtown without notice, without published plans, without public comment.
Keep this in mind next time they tell us that safety changes at deadly intersections require studies and months of community engagement.

I guess an open cup match is fine but I’m so over Cordova. Doesn’t seem like he has the juice, even for a non-DP player if we sign him permanently
I’m hoping we find a real, high caliber starter for that position in the summer
It’s elite hate watching for #AllForCITY though
Bradley Carnell boldly leading the Union to a historic 0-0-6 start (I’m sorry Union fans, I hope he’s gone soon for your sake)
las vegas blvd being like an 8 lane highway or whatever is so stupid. put a tram there you idiots
las vegas sucks ass and it's not even because of the gambling or the fact that it's in a desert. city deserves real transit and it would succeed so hard yet instead you get weird suburban hell and also it's in the desert (okay, maybe it's a little bit because of the desert)
Becher and Cordova exit…
Joyner enters…
Goal is scored.
This is a massive point y’all. Massive. #AllForCITY #NYCvSTL
