Clicking on some of y’all’s profiles and seeing some of you already have several thousand posts.. you people make me feel lazy.

and when I say bluesky, I mean the coders who work behind the scenes with the app’s development team. he’s giving instructions on what he wants them to do, not the users!

mark is not telling anyone but bluesky to do these steps! this is on their end with coding to be able to host all the news, regardless if the news outlet is on this app yet or not :)

Bluesky will have to put the coding in for it to be possible first. You have to allow access to all of the app to then be able to specialize the feed by users preferences. Kind of like adding books to kindle that weren’t made digitally. this is my first day on the app so will look deeper tmrw

it has to do with coding! hopefully bluesky can configure their news feeds & pages similar to Google alerts. this can be super specific for individuals down to who and what you follow. could be as niche as sewing news via MSNBC in just your local area with RSS, without MSNBC ever needing an account

think of news feeds, as they are published they are posted for all to see. this means even if they do not have an account on one social media source, those on that platform can still access and see the news.
