The privately funded is a problem, not a selling point. It’s a crystallization of special interests from a president buying pardon requests. I simply can’t understand why fascists can’t see that.

Let me clarify. This court continues to undercut the experiences of LGBTQ people. If youth say they are queer or trans, sending them to a church counselor who has their “free speech” from SCOTUS to tell them they’re something else is still torture. And those practitioners will argue it’s all speech.

These abuses have been documented and published by survivors.

The thing is, there are no best practices for conversion therapy, because it isn’t an evidence based model of care. Plenty of people have been forced to look at photos of disgusting things in a weird attempt to dissuade them from attraction or identity. And electrical stimulation happens.

The right to electrocute children on their genitals to make them not queer or trans, says SCOTUS. The horrors of this court are endless.

You can’t make me not trans. You can’t make me stop working hard for my community. You can’t judicial decide us out of existence.

A Semite is a 19th-century term describing speakers of Semitic languages—including Arabic, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Amharic—native to the Middle East &North Africa. While historically encompassing ancient peoples like Phoenicians, the term has been largely superseded by linguistic or ethnic identifiers.

My point is that these longstanding hatreds are more nuanced than simply throwing a charge of antisemitism addresses. The US seems to have distilled a narrow understanding of the term which erases the shared cultures of groups in that area. I think it limits our understanding.
